Cute Kid Announcement from Monda Goette Photography
It was another great year for my hometown’s 2022 Kaposia Days Cute Kid Contest sponsored by my studio, Monda Goette Photography.
We had 15 adorable kids ranging from ages 5 months old to 11 years old participate in this year’s contest, bringing in $1800 in votes alone (at $1 per vote) which the voting proceeds help to benefit our friends over at Neighbors, Inc., a non-profit organization in South St. Paul! (Note: I’ll provide an update from the total amount of canned goods/toiletries provided later this week from Neighbors, as a few items were still coming in at the time of this announcement!)
The voting was all 100% online voting, providing families, friends from all over to participate to vote for their cutest kid! It’s always so much fun to see these beautiful young faces in front of my lens, and for a great cause to help raise funds for Neighbors, Inc.
I am so grateful to the families that participated, with both new faces and some returning faces from last year. You all brought in donation items to support Neighbors, Inc., and I enjoyed the time with your cute kids in front of my lens. Thank you so much for sharing them with me!
And of course to all of those who supported this FUNdraiser by casting your votes for your favorite Cute Kids - a huge thank you!
With that said, I’d like to introduce the 2022 winners from this year’s Cute Kid Contest. Each category has one winner, as well as a “Grand Prize” winner. Each category winner receives a mounted 16x20 print of their contest entry portrait, and the Grand Prize winner is awarded a $500 credit to my studio in portrait credit towards their order plus a 16x20 portrait of their contest entry portrait.
All kids who participated in the local 2022 Cute Kid Contest will be entered into the Adorable National Children’s Portrait Contest which is held by one of my professional labs I work with. Winners from that contest will be announced in late October 2022. (Monda Goette Photography is not affiliated with the Adorable contest, and winners from this contest are final.)
