i am me teen photo project

Later in 2023, I’m going to be doing my next round of photo sessions for my i am me teen photo project. This is a fun and unique project for our younger generation - the teens and preteens who are old enough for the elementary years but aren’t quite upper classmen.

You still have a voice, you still have a wonderful story to tell. So let’s have some fun! I wanted to share a unique product album that is only offered through my i am me project. It’s the branded i am me album and it will showcase our teens and preteens in a unique way that is fun, genuine, hip and more importantly, telling their story.

Do you happen to have a teen or a preteen right now? I’d love the opportunity to work with them to create a fun and unique photo shoot for them. It’s also a great way to capture those formative years, as sometimes we tend to leave these years out in photographs for some reason.

I want to be inclusive to this delicate age group, and be another person they can have as their cheerleader on their side, to encourage them to be who they are. The album really helps to tell their story!

I’ve done several styles of albums and books in the past for the i am me teen project, but this one, complete with the blind-embossed logo is a great visual to remind the teens that “i am (________).”
I am brave. I am unique. I am athletic. I am a dancer. I am a singer. I am beautiful. It gives teens and preteens the words to seek when they might feel like they aren’t enough. Or it can act as a phrase of praise for the days when they are celebrating an accomplishment.

I have had several of my i am me participant’s parents tell me that their teen has flipped through the pages of their album with their friends, sometimes by themselves…and that makes me so happy. Teens and preteens love to see themselves in photographs being who they are, doing what they love.

I’m grateful and honored to be part of that experience for them.

If you are interested in being part of the next i am me teen project, please reach out to me here, and indicate you are interested in the teen project.

See you soon.
Fondly,
Monda the Photographer
