Introducing Emma - 2016 Senior Model Team from South St. Paul, MN, for South St. Paul Secondary School! (and my alma mater!)
The new Monda Goette Photography 2016 Senior Model Program is going strong! It has been more than I ever thought it would be! I am having so much fun hanging out with each team member during their model shoots! Emma completes this year's model team, and I couldn't be happier to have her!
Let's get right down to it! Emma is a year-round hockey player. With a rigorous training schedule consisting of up to six days a week - Emma is working hard to prepare for her final year of high school hockey. She is hopeful that the South St. Paul Packers will make it to the 2016 Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament, which is what she is looking forward to the most in her senior year. Emma's favorite high school moment is going to state for hockey in 2015.
Aside from her love of the puck, Emma also enjoys napping! (I would too if I had hockey training 6x per week!) She also loves adventure, rock climbing, and fishing. You won't catch her without her coffee! When asked what three things she cannot live without...her answers were her dog, her friends, and coffee. Her friends describe her as funny, literal, and relaxed.
We all have our own little quirks that not too many people know about. Emma's top three things that others may not know about her is that she always puts her left shoe on first, she hates sandpaper, and she adds "I've never really liked eating meat, but I do it anyway."
I've asked all of my model team who their biggest inspiration has been. For Emma, she says her inspiration is her dad. She adds "My dad always knows what to do. He's the best father/musician/cook in the world!" Hmm...I wonder what her dad's favorite band is...as Emma's favorite band is the Foo Fighters.
Check out some of the images from Emma's model session with me in downtown St. Paul! The fun thing with Emma's shoot, is I took a test drive with a new hair & makeup artist for her model session! Julie Swenson did a fantastic job giving Emma a flawless finish with her light application of makeup (and those lashes!) It was a hot and humid day so we gave Emma a few extra waves to go with her naturally curly hair.
For Emma's model session, she was dressed in outfits provided by the fantastic team at ApricotLane Boutique in Mendota Heights. ApricotLane Boutique and Monda Goette Photography have partnered up this year to help style my high school senior female models in their latest trends of the season, and I am so grateful for their generosity! They have two locations in the Twin Cities - in Mendota Heights and also at The Shops at West End. Here's more of Emma in the most gorgeous bold printed top!
Emma, when I first met you, I thought you looked a lot like your aunts on your dad's side...until I saw a photo of you next to your mom! Beautiful inside and out!
Editor's note: Emma's dad has been a longtime family friend and plays in a band with my uncle since forever called The LidTwisters...and I've had the privilege to get up on stage with them a few times to sing - so I will agree with Emma on that one that her dad is the best musician in the world! I also worked with him at South St. Paul Public Schools years ago. That makes Emma's model membership with me all the more special! Thank you guys for sharing your Emma with me! She is awesome!
