Meet Jessica, Class of 2017 soon-to-be graduate from St. Croix Lutheran High School in West St. Paul! I've had the honor of working with Jessica throughout her senior year as a member of my 2017 Senior Model Program, so you may have seen her pop up on your newsfeed a time or two from previous sessions!
Jessica had a fantastic senior session in downtown St. Paul!
One of the things I love about Jessica is her expression in images. While she has a genuinely perfect smile, this girl can pull of the serious face and still look stunning in any image! Always looking put together, even if she "dressed down" - with or without glasses on, Jessica is truly a standout. Take a look at some of her favorites from her senior session, and mine too!
Jessica had a very busy yet impressive senior year that would include various missions trips, soccer practice and games (and summer youth coaching!), and also working at her job, to name a few! It makes me feel honored that she shuffled her schedule around enough to make time for some of our model play sessions throughout her senior year!
Jessica is making a smart decision for her college location. She is going where it is WARM year-round and will be attending Arizona State University focusing on Biomedical Studies.
Jessica's ability to express herself really comes alive in the portraits I've taken of her. That inner beauty really shines through in her images. She is radiant. Simple as that!
Jessica was always the one in charge of my "selfie stick" on the team shoots, as she was usually the only one who could make it work right! Biomeds AND a techie! :-)
It has been great getting to know Jessica throughout her senior year through the model program. It helps me to better understand her as a person. We recently did an anti-bullying session and I could tell that it was a topic that struck a chord with her, and that she wanted to be heard among her peers. You can see the blog from the anti-bullying session here, or the app here along with other sessions that Jessica was a part of here: Spring 17, Team USA, Destination Session, Glitter and the Carnival Fun session.
Jess, I thank you a million times for wanting to work with me throughout your senior year on the model team! I am grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know you better. You are a strong voice with great ideas and having you on the team was awesome! All the best to you as you fly south to Arizona to start your college career in the fall. What an experience you will have! I'm excited for you.
